All articles must be brought to the Gillette Cultural Arts Building on Sept.
7, 2007 between the hours of 10 am and 7 pm. All entries must be
submitted by September 1, 2008. All exhibitors must purchase a season pass
if premium may exceed $10. All premiums will be mailed after end of fair.
Rules:
- Entries must be received and in place on Sep. 5, 2008,
between 10am and 7pm.
- Judging to be done on Sep. 7 at 7:45 p.m..
- Exhibits may be removed between 9 am and 12 pm, Sep. 14.
- An exhibitor may enter two photos per class, but photos
cannot be exhibited in two consecutive years.
- No photo will be exhibited with photographer’s signature
or logo on the face of the photo.
- The management reserves the right to determine whether
an article is worthy of exhibition (no nudes).
- Work should be of an amateur photographer and not a
professional.
- Single photos must be 5x7 or larger and mounted neatly
and securely on mounting board with a hanger on back not to exceed 16x20. A
border of approximately 2" per side is recommended for all photographs.
- Photo Essays (group of same topic) must consist of 6 to
12 photographs mounted on a single 16"x20" mounting board. Photos must be
3½"x5" or larger.
- Name and address must be placed on back of each entry.
- Cash premiums will be given from the awards marked in
the judge’s records and not from ribbons that may be attached to the exhibit.
Judge’s decision is final.
- Best of Show for each department receives a rosette
ribbon.
- An exhibitor’s pass must be purchased if entering any
class.
- Williams County Agricultural Society is not responsible
for loss or damage of entries.
- Youth or Junior Departments may enter in Senior
Department classes.
- Premiums will be mailed following the fair.
Premiums: First $3.00; Second $2.00; Third $1.00
