4.  Livestock Committee representatives obtain a market value with livestock buyers.

5. An exhibitor may pass through the sale ring only one time so as to permit only one sale per exhibitor in either beef, dairy, poultry, turkey, rabbits, sheep, swine or market goat.

6. If an exhibitor has a Market Grand Champion and/or Reserve Grand Champion, they all must sell. Except feeder calves, they are not a terminal market animal. They have the option. All Champion & Reserve Champion single lambs, swine, goat, and beef steers must go to Jacoby’s in West Unity and the carcass will be inspected by Ohio Department of Agriculture.

EXHIBITORS ARE TO FILL OUT DELETION FORMS, SIGNED BY PARENT OR GUARDIAN OF WHAT ANIMALS THEY DO NOT INTEND TO SELL THROUGH THE SALE RING.  Check livestock barns and Junior Fair Office for official due date.  Return to the Junior Fair Office.  Failure to do such by this time will result in ALL of the exhibitor’s market animals being deleted from the Junior Fair Sale.  Changes can be made by an exhibitor selected as Grand and/or Reserve Champion, only, by Tuesday following the Beef Show.

9. Each exhibitor is responsible to the buyers for the animal(s) until they are loaded on the packers' truck.

10. Junior Fair Sale Fee will be based on 5% of the gross sale for Junior Fair improvements.

11. Sale fee will be used for Junior Fair expenses, advertising, promotion and improvements.

12. The order of sale rotates yearly. The division of livestock sold first one year will be sold last the following year. Single market animals will be sold first then the market pens. A division being added to the sale starts at the bottom of the order.

13. Junior Fair Sale Committee is responsible for all areas of the sale; banking, promotion and advertising, selecting and coordinating auctioneers, consignors, appraisals, and show and sale barn.

14. A number system will be used for bidding at the Junior Fair Sale. Previous year buyers will be sent a number. Extra numbers will be available at the sale for new buyers.
