HAUL-IN MARKET LAMB SHOW

Weigh-in: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Rules:
- All haul-in market lambs must enter at the north gate
on River Street.
Unloading and parking will be available behind the Show Pavilion with
additional parking across the race track to the infield.
- Entry fee will be $10 per head payable to the Williams
County Agricultural Society at the time of weigh-in. Daily gate admission
will be charged.
- All entries will be identified at time of weigh-in.
Exhibitors must present copy of health papers.
- Lambs do not have to be purebred. Lambs may be wethers
or ewes and must have their lamb teeth. Butt wool will be optional.
- Exhibitors will show their lambs by weight classes.
The minimum weight will be 90 pounds with all lambs divided into appropriate
weight classes with a maximum of 12 lambs per class. No re-weighs will be
permitted.
- The Market Lamb Committee will accommodate everyone,
but will not guarantee any holding pens for this show. West end of Show
Pavilion will be available for grooming and fitting.
- All exhibitors shall abide by the rules and
regulations regarding livestock tampering and/or misrepresentation approved
by the Williams County Agricultural Society.
- The decision of the Market Lamb Committee will be
final.
- The top two lambs in each class will compete for
champion and reserve champion lamb.
- Lambs hauled
into this show only will be released immediately after the show is over.
- All premiums will be sent to exhibitors immediately
following the fair.
- Premiums for the top five lambs in each class will be:
1st - $15, 2nd - $10, 3rd - $8, 4th - $6, 5th - $3
Grand Champion - $300 Reserve
Champion - $150
