Williams County Haul-In Dairy Show

Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008 following 4-H Dairy Show. Held in the Livestock Pavilion

Arrival time: 3:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. Monday Sept. 8

Entries: Pre-enter by Thursday, August.28

 

All dairy animals will be released immediately following the show.  Proceeds from show and sale of milk will benefit 2009 show.

Due to declining dairy farming and interest, the show has been shortened.  We DO want to encourage the Pee Wee interest, though.

Breeds: Holstein, Jersey, Dexter, Brown Swiss, Others

 

Rules: Health paper required!

All haul-in dairy animals must enter at the North gate on River Street. Unloading and parking will be available behind the show pavilion with additional parking across the racetrack infield. All exhibitors must pay daily gate fee.

All entries must be purebred and exhibitor MUST present a HEALTH CERTIFICATE OF VETERINARY INSPECTION within 30 days of the Williams County Fair (a slip for each animal entered).

All exhibitors shall abide by the rules and regulations regarding livestock tampering and/or misrepresentation approved by the Williams County Agricultural Society.

All classes will be shown by breed and age of the animal according to the show bill.  Age of the animal will be computed from September 9, 2007.  The decision of the Dairy Show and Livestock Committee will be final.

Our Society will furnish NO HAY or BEDDING.

All animals will be released immediately following the show so the committee can prepare for the next show.

 

Showmanship $5 per entry fee, except for Pee Wee.  No entry fee for Pee Wee.
