Antiques and Collectibles: Book 9A

 

 

1. The exhibit will be staged in the Gillette Cultural Arts Center. Security will be furnished at all times. The show will be open to all counties.

2.  Exhibitors may submit 3 items per class (Glass, Tools, Kitchen, etc.)

3.  Three years must pass before an item may be submitted again.

4.  Exhibitor must bring in or mail an entry form with a list of items to the fair secretary by September 1, 2008  Items submitted after September 1st will be accepted for exhibit only, space permitting. They will not be judged. The judge will consider only items listed in this book.

5. Exhibitor is responsible for placing items in proper class and category.  Items will not be reclassified after entry is accepted into exhibit.

6. Exhibits will be accepted at the Gillette Building on Friday, September 5th, 2008 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M

7. The exhibitor or their agents must present all exhibits in person. Please be sure all entry tags are firmly attached to items.

8. All exhibitors are required to purchase an exhibitor's pass.

9. All items should be in a good state of preservation.  Condition and rarity are of prime importance and will be considered in the judging.  The judge may place an entry less than first place if the entries in the class are not worthy of a higher place.

10. If the item is unusual, a small typed or neatly printed information card would be appreciated.

11. The Williams County Agricultural Society is not responsible for damage, breakage, or theft.

12. Judging will be Friday, September 5, 2008.

13. Judge’s decision is final.

14. Premiums will be paid from judge’s records only and not from ribbons which may be attached to the exhibits. Premiums will be paid by check and will be mailed after all departments have reported and accounting is complete.

15. All exhibits will be released on Saturday, September 13 from 8:00-10:00 P.M. and Sunday, September 14, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.

16. WINNERS NAMES WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED IN THE NEWSPAPER.
